A fine 8 day duration movement with striking on a mellow gong for the Hours and once for the Half hours . Miniature Grandfather ClockThis has to be seen to fully appreciate the small proportions and the superb detail in the construction of the case . A miniature longcase or 'Grandfather' clock that stands only 44.3 cms tall ( about 17 and a Half inches ). It has an engraved and silvered dial showing roman numerals , a brass bezel and bevelled glass . The case is veneered in a beautiful burr Elm with box wood line inlay and standing on taditional style bracket feet , the rear door opens to give access to the movement which is has jewelled lever escapement , and the clock is wound through the dial , stamped Coventry . circa 1950 . £1150.00 G.B.Pounds

A perfect two section white enamel dial with Roman numerals and with the center of the dial showing the jewelled 'deadbeat' escapement . Bevelled glass to all sides with the regulator being a Ship's wheel on display instead of a pendulum . These clocks are extremely rare and this is the first we have had in 20 years ! A fine French 8 day movement and polished blue steel Breguet Hands. The movement is stamped by S.Marti et Cie , Bronze medal winner and working from 1863 to 1890 , this fine clock would have been made circa 1880 , standing 33cms Tall .Circa 1880 . Marine ChronometerA superb cased marine chronometer with mahogany brass bound box with original lid and name plate , a silvered dial with the makers name , Heath & Co , Observatory works ,Crayford, London and numbered 2232-2248 on the dial and on the plate to the case .The dail also has the inscription 'Hezzanith' which was the name given to Heath & Co's Premium range of Nautical instruments and was a guarantee of quality , they also were appointed to the Lords commissioners to the Admiralty .The mahogany Chronometer box is brass bound with flush carry handles and Ivory name plate Key and lock . The Jewelled spring Detent escapement and movement is now fully overhauled and keeping very good time .

Four Glass Mantel ClockA Superb French four glass , regulator clock, striking the hours and the half hours on a Bell, white enamel dial with Roman numerals and with the center of the dial showing the jewelled 'deadbeat' escapement , bevelled glass all round and a Large sealed mercury compensating pendulum. A fine French 8 day movement and polished blue steel Breguet Hands. The dial is signed by J.Smith of Kendal (although the name is slightly worn) he is recorded working from 1853 to 1879 , this fine clock would have been made circa 1870 standing 11 and half inches Tall .
