	Leroy et Fils Mantel Clock A Superb French four glass , regulator clock, striking the hours and the half hours on a Bell, white enamel dial with Roman numerals and with the center of the dial showing the jewelled 'deadbeat' escapement , bevelled glass all round and a Large sealed mercury compensating pendulum. A fine French 8 day movement and polished blue steel Breguet Hands.The movement is stamped Leroy et Fil a Paris and Numbered 12843 . Charles Le Roy was the Master Clockmaker to Napolean & along with his son Charles-Louis were clockmaker’s to the Princess Pauline and the Duke de Bourbon. Examples of their work are in all the major collections as well in the Ministere de la Guerre, Paris. The Maison de Le Roy was founded in 1785 at Palais Royal & continued until the death of Charles at Versailles in 1865. , Standing 29cms Tall . Circa 1880 £1950.00 G.B.Pounds

	Henry Marc a Paris An inlaid rosewood mantel clock by this well known French clockmaker , Henry Marc with the early silk suspension pendulum , A white , signed enamel dial with Slow - Fast adjustment a glass slide in front of the dial which can be raised to wind the clock , it also has a small Lenticel below the carry Handle to view the escapement , fine floral Marquetry to both sides of the case with boxwood line inlay around , A fine French 8 day movement stamped with the makers mark and polished blue steel Hands . 	Ormalu , Silk Suspension Mantel Clock A Silk suspension , Ormalu mantel clock of 8 day duration , striking hourly and half hourly on a fine Bell with cartouche dial showing Roman numerals in Blue and fret cut blued Hands , The case has a small figure below the dial listening to the chime of the clock ( see close up images ), made by Charles A Aubert & Co and also stamped with the well known London retailer 'Stopp' .Max Hermann Stopp was in business from around 1851 and the movement is numbered 1761 . £1495.00 G.B.Pounds
