A Classic Station or Dial wall clock in a mahogany case. The movement is single fusee and has square edge plates with Blued Steel Hands. The dial is signed C WALLER 27 High Street , Southend on sea . The case has two doors - the side door held with a latch the convex bottom door held with a Turn latch a brass Bezel with bezel lock and glass. A fine local timepiece .

A Charming 12" Convex Dial with a small 'drop' in a Mahogany case with brass line inlay , shaped 4 pillar fusee movement of 8 day duration , The Dial is signed Thomas Whip of Rochdale , who is recorded working around 1834 until around 1858 . He would have made this clock circa 1855. The dial has its original enamelled Background and Hands . A wooden surround and a brass Bezel with convex glass . A fine and early convex dial Verge Bezel wall clock with an 'A' shape fusee movement of 8 day duration . English Dial clocks of this age and quality are now extremely rare and collectable , this example is in very original condition and viewing is recommend . Please see the 'close up' pictures by clicking on the image , This clock is signed William Flint of Charing who was working from 1733 - 1795 and his son of the same name continued the buisness and moved to Ashford (not far from Charing) and worked until the 1850's . It is difficult to be exact , but we would say this clock dates from the early 1800's .

A fine Mahogany Cased English wall Regulator Timepiece, 8 day duration weight driven, maintaining power movement with deadbeat escapement, long wooden Pendulum rod with heavy lead filled Brass bob with a wonderful rating nut and brass cased lead filled single weight with 4 spoke pulley. The full Regulator dial with Roman and Arabic Numerals is Numbered and Signed by the Maker - Mr T. Blundell of Liverpool, No 253. He is Listed in 'Watch and Clockmakers of the world' as working from 1822 to 1883. Fine Blued steel hands and silvered sight ring - dial measuring only 10 inches. The Case is figured Mahogany and has a dome top with inspection Door. A fine Timepiece for exceptional time-keeping.
