	A Victorian Piano front Davenport A very fine example of the Piano front , Burr Walnut , Harlequin (Rising Back)Davenport. This example has four dummy drawer fronts to the left side and four full sized mahogany lined to the right side, scroll supports in carved walnut, a highly figured piano top and pannelled front and back, Brass casters are hidden under walnut Pad feet. The rising stationary compartment is released with a hidden button inside the right-hand small drawer above the leather writing slope and once raised reveals a set of Three secret walnut fronted drawers and small letter compartments all lined with Satinwood and edged with Ebony a fine walnut fret to the rising top. circa 1880 £3950.00 G.B.Pounds
