A fine marquetry inlaid rosewood mantel clock of good colour and patina with small lenticel below the decorative handle to view the original silk suspension escapement , The large enamel dial with Roman numerals and the makers name . Boxwood stringing to all sides of the case and floral marquetry inlays . A fine French 8 day movement striking on a Bell ,  fine polished blued steel Hands . Thomas a Paris is recorded working in the early to mid 19th Century and this clock would date to circa 1850 . Standing 25cms small ! (with Handle raised) 16.5cms wide and 13cms deep .
