A fine and gorge case Carraige clock in very original condition with a large top glass to view the original Bi-metallic , split , lever platform escapement . The fully serviced 7 day movement is Bell striking on the Hour and once on the half hours the movement is completely original and working perfectly , the case and Glass all of which have been bevelled and are in perfect condition . This carriage clock is signed Grohe of Wigmore Street , London . Circa 1880 , James Grohe is listed working from 1832-81 in Watch and Clockmakers of the World VOL2 .
