A Charming 12" Convex Dial with a small 'drop' in a Mahogany case with brass line inlay , shaped 4 pillar fusee movement of 8 day duration , The Dial is signed Thomas Whip of Rochdale , who is recorded working around 1834 until around 1858 . He would have made this clock circa 1855. The dial has its original enamelled Background and Hands . A wooden surround and a brass Bezel with convex glass . This is a fine example of a Drop Dial wall clock and has classic features , Viewing recommended but click to see close up pictures
