A very original and quite early 'Drop dial' wall clock in figured mahogany with brass inlay. The early convex 12" dial is signed Smith , 27 Fenchurch Sreet , London . It retains the original 4 pillar fusee movement with shaped plates and long brass pendulum rod with lead filled Bob . Going for a week on wind. The cast , brass bezel and original convex glass , lower convex door held with a lock and key . Circa 1830-40 . A full 12 month RTB guarantee.
