A fine 'drop dial' wall clock in a highly figured mahogany case of small proportions , the 8 inch silvered dial signed by Frodsham of Gracechurch Street , London. The fusee movement has also been stamped with Frodsham's name and address which was typical on this type of clock .The cast bezel and lower convex door held with lock and key . 8 day duration . Circa 1863-81 . Charles Frodsham by Apt. to her Majesty in Watchmakers & Clockmakers of the World Vol 2 . A superb little timepiece ! 12 month guarantee.
