C.H.EVE of Southend on sea

 

An original 12" dial , wall clock in a mahogany case. The movement is single fusee has square plates with fine original Steel Hands and runs for 8 days with a fine and substantial fusee movement . The original cream colour enamelled dial is signed C.H.Eve of Southend on sea , A Charles Henry Eve is recorded working in Prittlewell ( Southend ) from 1874, this clock would date to around 1890-1910 .The case has two doors - the side door held with a latch the convex bottom door held with a latch and Key .
