Mantel Clocks

Please click on this image to see more detailed photographs of this clock. A rare French four glass or 'crystal regulator' , striking the hours and the half hours on a Bell. A perfect two section white enamel dial with Roman numerals and with the center of the dial showing the jewelled 'deadbeat' escapement . Bevelled glass to all sides with the regulator being a Ship's wheel on display instead of a pendulum . These clocks are extremely rare and this is the first we have had in 20 years ! A fine French 8 day movement and polished blue steel Breguet Hands. The movement is stamped by S.Marti et Cie , Bronze medal winner and working from 1863 to 1890 , this fine clock would have been made circa 1880 , standing 33cms Tall .
