Le Plasterier of Chancery Lane was a maker of fine clocks. He produced a very fashionable and reliable selection , large and small . This is a good example of the 'Library clock' with a superb jewelled lever escapement and chain fusee with maintianing power .

Le Plasterier of Chancery Lane was a maker of fine clocks. He produced a very fashionable and reliable selection , large and small . This is a good example of the 'Library clock' with a superb jewelled lever escapement and chain fusee with maintianing power . The silvered and well engraved dial , signed and showing Roman numerals . Simple spade hands and sivered bevelled sight . The glass to both sides and the top is substantial with a good bevel , the front and back are flat . The case is ebonised Pear wood and in wonderful condition with a good 'patina'. It is worth remembering that all our clocks have had a full dismantle / overhaul unlike many others for sale online and carry a full 12 month Guarantee in writing , which adds to the value and longevity of this fine clock .
