John Hardy worked at 17 Hoxter Row, Aberdeen, Circa 1830 and is recorded in "Old Scottish Clockmakers" by John Smith. This fine, 8 day Longcase clock is Bell striking on the hour and housed in a fine mahogany case with quarter barley twist colums to the trunk an arched door cross banded with rosewood which looks very nice ! . The enamelled dial showing the makers name , Seconds dial and calendar (disabled) . A good example of Scottish Clockmaking.
