A very well presented , small mahogany longcase clock with full brass dial , gilt spandrels (corner decorations) blued steel hands , calendar and makers name to the centre . The arched hood has full , fluted and brass reeded columns with brass Corinthian capitals . This clock of small proportions runs for a week on a single wind and will strike the hour on a bell . This clock also benefits from a strike-silent facility in the arch of the dial . The trunk door retains the original and unusual fan inlay of Satinbirch which is not often seen and the panelled base has corner details we have not seen before . We would highly recommend if possible viewing this clock in our showrooms to fully appreciate to colour , patina and size . Delivered free within 100miles of our shop !
