Richard & Co, Push Repeat

A fine example of a 'gorge canallee' cased carriage clock of good size and proportions in a satin gilt finish. The clock has a pleasant gong strike on the hours and half hours and will run for a week per wind. Richard & Co opened in London in 1867 at 24 Cannon Street. This clock features the R&Co logo stamp in the bottom left corner and is number 132. Dating to around 1890.
