A fine 'Gorge' case carriage clock with a pleasant gong strike in an unusual Chrome looking finish which is actually Rhodium (a member of the Platinum family) , one of the most precious metals in the world -currently selling at $80,000 a Kilogram ! The clock retains the original escapement , all bevelled white glass in perfect condition , a white enamel dial showing the original spade hands .
