Charles Vincenti, Giant Carriage

A fine and exceptionally large carriage clock by the well respected maker Charles Vincenti of Paris. The back plate is stamped C.V. and numbered. Vincenti was a superb maker and produced clocks for several of the large and prestigious London retailers of the late Victorian period. This giant carriage clock is shown here unrestored. It is remarkable and giant in every way, although it does have a soft/mellow gong strike. When ready, this rare clock will be sold with a 24 month guarantee (U.K)
