Leroy a Paris , Push Repeat , Alarm .

A fine matt gilt , carriage clock in a solid early multi-piece cast 'gorge' case with bell strike , alarm and push repeat .The enamelled dial showing Roman numerals , blued steel Breguet hands with an alarm dial below the '6' . The movement back plate is stamped 5288 and also has the engraved name of Leroy et Fils . Leroy were based in Paris and London with a shop in Regent Street and the Palais Royal , they were retailers and makers of good quality clocks .This clock has push repeat facilty , alarm and hourly strike on a bell . It is also supplied with an original leather carriage clock case to protect it during transit .This clock has an early example of the 'Gorge' case with all bevelled 'white' glass and is quite rare . 12month RTB Guarantee
