A well proportioned Carriage clock in very original condition with its numbered Key and Leather case . A large bevelled top glass to view the original Bi-metallic , jewelled lever escapement , striking on the Hour and half hour on a mellow gong . The movement has been completely serviced / overhauled & polished (see close up photos by clicking on the picture) . Bevelled glasses to all sides and the white enamelled dial is clear and bright with the name 'Aird & Thomson , Glasgow and Paris Made in very small letters beneath . Roman numerals and Breguet type hands . Circa 1890 - 1910 .
