Victorian Barometer , circa 1870
An ebony and boxwood strung , mahogany wheel Barometer with an 10" engraved and silvered dial with brass bezel and covered with a convex glass, a silvered Thermometer scale with red alcohol tube. The convex 'Butlers' mirror with ebonised reeded bezel .Below the barometer dial is the ivory knob for positioning the brass hand (Yesterdays reading) and at the bottom is a spirit level engraved with Warranted Correct . Circa 1870 .
