Alfred the son of Pierre Drocourt took over the business in the 1870's , they had won several medals at the Paris exhibitions - Bronze 1867 , Silver 1868 and the Gold medal in 1889 .This fine clock also retains the large silvered platform and jeweled lever escapement .
