A traditional 'school'  or 'Station' clock . The fully restored movement is single fusee on chain and has square plates with the original steel hands and runs for 8 days . The enamelled dial is signed Lodder ,Weston Road , Southend .William Alfred Lodder is listed as a Watch and clockmaker from 1874 . This clock probably dates to 1890-1900 . It has 1 side door and a convex bottom door held with a lock and Key . Sold fully overhauled and with a 12 month Guarantee in writing . The case is polished mahogany of good colour .
