Marine ChronometerA superb cased marine chronometer with mahogany brass bound box with original lid and name plate , a silvered dial with the makers name , Heath & Co , Observatory works ,Crayford, London and numbered 2232-2248 on the dial and on the plate to the case .The dail also has the inscription 'Hezzanith' which was the name given to Heath & Co's Premium range of Nautical instruments and was a guarantee of quality , they also were appointed to the Lords commissioners to the Admiralty .This clock is shown here unrestored and in need of a full movement and case restoration . when the clock is finished and tested we will rephotograph and replace these images .
