A fine London longcase clock by William Poole who is recorded working in 1777 . We would date this clock slightly earlier at 1760 . The clock shows a full brass dial with strike silent to the arch , makers name and calendar as well as the full silvered chapter ring . A good quality and substantial 8 day duration movement which strikes the hour on a bell . Fully overhauled and is sold with a 12 month Guarantee , delivery and set up free of charge within 70 miles of our shop. A fine well proportioned typical London longcase in a superb mahogany case .
