Oak Longcase with 12" Painted Dial
An 8 day longcase clock in a very warm 'mellowed' Solid waxed Oak case, The Shell inlay on the long trunk door and panelled base with an attractive 'curtain' plinth. The dial is signed W.Bearn of Wellingboro (Wellingborough) who is recorded working in B.Loomes - Watch and Clockmakers of the World circa 1824. Striking the hours on a bell. 2 year Guarantee.
