William Ross of Dover is recorded working in Dover circa 1827 (Watch and Clockmakers of the world by B.Loomes) . This small 8 day Longcase clock is Bell striking on the hour and housed in an Oak case with quarter fluted colums to the trunk a shallow arched door . The enamelled dial showing the makers name , Seconds dial and calendar . A good , reasonably priced Longcase clock of good proportions .
