A fine flame mahogany Scottish longcase clock of 8 day duration, the case is one of the most decorative we have seen , being not only the best figuring but also the panelling and carved decorations which add to this superb case , the hood is in the classic 'Broken arch' shape with carved thistles just below the dial, the 12" painted dial features a calendar and seconds dial within the Roman numeral chapter ring, the movement is of 8 day duration , typical high quality Scottish clockmaking . This clock is currently shown unrestored and will be completed very soon .
