Longcase Clocks

A substantial and well proportioned highly figured mahogany longcase with a painted dial showing phases of the moon below the twelve ,8 day duration striking the hours on a bell. The case has good detail with canted corners to the base , bracket feet , a book matched trunk door with shaped edge , a cushion shaped decorated panel below the swan neck pediment . John Kent of Salford , Manchester was working from 1804 and is listed in Clock and Watchmakers of the World , book by Loomes . fully restored and sold with a one year guarantee
