Longcase Clocks

A smaller than average , superb flame mahogany longcase clock byJ.P.Saddleton of Kings Lynn circa 1830-36 , who is listed in the book 'Watch and Clockmakers of the World' by B.Loomes . The hood has full columns with Brass capitals long flame Mahogany Trunk door , the base has the classic single plinth . The dial is one the finest we have seen for a while , with the Duke of Wellington extremely well painted in the arch with his second in command and troops just visible going off into battle with a canon lying in the rough ! . please see close up photos .
