Chippendale Style Grandmother clock.
A superb small longcase or grandmother clock , this miniature grandfather clock is a fine example with Chippendale styling and a Westminster chiming , 8 day movement . Made by J. Herbert of Brighthelmstone ( Brighton ) circa 1890 - 1910.This lovely little clock has all the best features in one , bracket feet , a 'brickwork' detailed base , book matched veneer trunk door , Chippendale style mouldings and a tight swan neck pediment to decorate the hood . Standing only 1.48m or about 58" small ! please try and see this clock in our shop to appreciate the quality , patina and size . Sold fully restored and with a 12 month Guarantee .
