A fine example of a Regency Period , English Bracket clock in 'flame' mahogany . The twin Fusee , 8 Day Movement on an 'Anchor' escapement with pull repeat striking a bell on the Hour has a finely engraved backplate showing the makers name in an oval cartouche , Dwerrihouse and Carter of Berkeley Square , London . The Convex dial also showing the makers name and the original pair of Blued steel Regency period Hands , covered with a Convex glass and Brass bezel with bezel lock . Fish scale frets backed with Silk to both sides to keep the dust out and let the sound through Standing on polished brass ball feet with a carrying handle to finish . D & C were recorded working from 1802-1823 and this clock is circa 1815-20.
