Pad Top , Mahogany Bracket clock
The Classic ' Broken Arch ' Pad Top - English Bracket clock with Double Fusee , 8 Day Movement striking on a bell on the Hour and has a finely engraved and Silvered Convex dial showing the makers name Thorne of South Molton (North Devon) and the original pair of Blued steel Hands . The case is constructed in solid Oak with well figured Mahogany veneers , Fish scale frets backed with Silk ( The silk has been renewed as it had perished ) and the classic Bracket feet . Viewing recommended . Circa 1795-1805 .
