Stick Barometer circa 1800
A fine Mahogany stick Barometer with ebony and boxwood 'rope edge' inlay with glazed door , silvered dial with vernier , Thermometer and finely engraved dial plate an exposed tube with attractive turned mahogany bowl at the base , unsigned but bears a label to the rear , George Bateman of Bournemouth . A finial to the architectual pediment to finish . A superb example and worth viewing in our shop to fully appreciate the depth of colour .
